Info Session for Liberation Table: A Black Diasporic Tradition
January 21, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
| FreeLiberation Table is an opportunity for Black people of the African Diaspora to host family and friends over a traditional meal with African roots and to reflect upon our history of innovation, resilience, and strength. Our mission is to establish a new tradition that takes place in February to celebrate Black History Month and on Juneteenth to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved Black people.
January 21, 2-3:30pm: Ives Main Branch Library
January 28, 12-1:30pm: Stetson Branch Library
All info session attendees will receive a complementary Liberation Table Guide! Light refreshments will be served.
